How Together Loans works

Together Loans is built for people who have been turned down by banks or other lenders because of poor or limited credit. You apply with a cosigner, usually a close friend or family member, who agrees to make the payments if you can't. Because the cosigner shares the risk, Together Loans says it can offer larger amounts and lower rates than many bad-credit loans.

A good cosigner typically has an excellent credit history, stable income and, ideally, owns a home. They should be financially separate from you, meaning you don't share credit or bank accounts.

Is Together Loans a good fit?

Likely a good fit if you

  • Have been declined elsewhere because of your credit
  • Have someone with strong credit willing to cosign
  • Need $3,000 to $10,000
  • Want a fixed payment over 2 to 5 years

Probably not a fit if you

  • Don't have a cosigner, or don't want to put someone else on the hook
  • Have good credit and could qualify for a lower APR on your own
  • Are currently in bankruptcy
